Perfect Portion

Know waste, no waste

An overwhelming majority of the population are incapable of accurately estimating how much food they can consume in a single sitting. Because of this, many people tend to buy more food than they can eat, which leads to excessive food waste.

How can we help people accurately estimate how much they're capable of eating?

In partnership with the UN World Food program, we devised a unit of measurement to rate how much a given food would satiate a person: Portions.

By giving people a standardized reference, we can prevent food wastage that occurs as a result of overordering and overbuying.
